Why Line Dance?

Well, mostly because it's fun!!!

In addition to fun, line dancing brings you into a community of others who also enjoy it! You’ll easily make new friends, sharing in an activity that brings a smile to everyone's face! Line dancing reduces stress, improves memory, burns calories and is an all around “feel good activity”!

Line Dancing is easier than you think, even for those with 2 left feet! At one point in time every one of us walked through that door for our first time, so we understand how intimidating that can feel & I can’t name one person who ever said they wish they hadn’t come!

Boots, hats & partners aren’t necessary and many folks wear sneakers or dance shoes. We also have many who love the country vibe and get all Westerned Up for class & events! Partners aren’t required, even for our couples lessons, you always have the option to dance solo, side by side with a friend, or holding onto your sweetie!

It's time to give it a go! Saddle up, check out our monthly calendar or regular events, and join us on a dance floor near you!

Join us at Old Well Tavern in Simsbury, CT Saturday, March 29th as we raise funds to support Hayley and her family as she kicks cancer's butt! Hayley's mom Stef has been a part of the Stompin' Boots dance family from the very start! Come on out and show your support for Hayley, Stef and the whole family!

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Additionally we will be hosting a boot raffle, a 50/50 raffle and accepting donations at the event. All proceeds will go to Hayley's family to help fund her treatment and recovery.
